Straight amino resins
Cores made using resins of this group feature excellent collapse properties following pouroff, and are thus particularly suitable for production of thin-walled aluminum castings. A further major field of application for this type of resin is in fittings casting. Such resins are used since it is often possible to pour off the cores without first applying a mold wash. Furthermore, the good core collapse after pouroff is also appreciated in this application, since it saves thermal post-treatment of the rough casting.
